METHODOLOGY

How we work.

Most agencies sell you a retainer and figure it out as they go. We lock every decision before the work starts. Here is exactly what that looks like.

No surprises.

We have a bias toward decisions over discussions. Every color, every headline, every keyword target, every page layout is specific and locked before the build starts. You review and approve each decision. Nothing is vague. Nothing is left to interpretation.

This means the build phase is fast. When the spec is locked, the coding agent executes it without guessing. The result is a site that launches right the first time, not a site that goes through six rounds of revisions because nobody wrote down what it was supposed to be.

A purpose-built site on a modern stack loads in under a second by default. No optimization pass bolted on at the end. No tradeoffs between speed and functionality. It is the byproduct of building the right way from the start.

PASS ONE

Brand lock.

The first pass captures or establishes your brand identity. If you have existing brand elements (colors, fonts, logo), we extract them. If you're starting fresh, we build them with you.

WHAT GETS LOCKED

Colors.
Every color is a specific hex value. No 'blue-ish' or 'something modern.' Exact values, documented.
Typography.
A named font with specific weights for headings, body text, and labels.
Tone.
How the site talks. Direct and technical, or warm and personal. Defined with examples.
SEO framework.
Primary and secondary keywords for every page. Title tag format. Meta description strategy. Schema types.
AI search readiness.
llms.txt structure, AI crawler permissions, structured data plan.

The output is a Brand Lock document. Every decision is written down. You review it, request changes, and approve it before we move to Pass 2. Nothing proceeds until this is locked.

PASS TWO

Page specs.

The second pass writes the spec for every page on the site. Not wireframes. Not mockups. A written specification that defines every content block, every heading, every paragraph of real text, every CTA, every image position, and every mobile behavior.

WHAT GETS LOCKED

Content.
Real words on every page. Not placeholder text. The copy you approve is the copy that launches.
Structure.
Every content block defined: what it contains, where it sits, how it behaves on mobile.
Keywords.
Primary and secondary keyword targets per page, mapped to the SEO framework from Pass 1.
Conversion points.
Every form, every CTA, every phone link tracked with named events in GA4.
Internal linking.
Which pages link to which, and why.

You review every page spec. You can react to real content, not to a wireframe that will 'be filled in later.' What you approve is what gets built.

PASS THREE

Build and launch.

The third pass builds the site from the locked spec. The coding agent executes the specification. No creative interpretation. No guessing what you meant. The spec is the blueprint and the build follows it.

WHAT HAPPENS

Component library.
Reusable patterns are extracted from the page specs so the build is consistent across every page.
Build.
The site is engineered against the spec, deployed, and tested. No creative interpretation.
Performance.
Every page is tested with Lighthouse. We target 94 to 99 on mobile. If a page scores below 90, we optimize before launch.
Review.
You see the live site on a staging URL. Final adjustments happen here, but because the spec was locked, these are minor.
Launch.
DNS pointed, analytics verified, Search Console connected, AI search files deployed. Live.

Typical timeline from Brand Lock to live site: 5 to 7 business days. Larger or more involved sites take 7 to 14. The spec phase (Passes 1 and 2) takes 1 to 2 days of collaborative work.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

The site is live. Now what?

A website without ongoing content and marketing is a brochure. It exists, but it does not grow. The site build is the foundation. What we do after launch is what makes the phone ring.

Content production starts immediately. Articles, service pages, and case studies targeting the keywords your customers search for. Every piece is tracked at 30, 60, and 90 days.

If you are running paid advertising, campaigns launch within the first week. Conversion tracking is already configured from the build. Every dollar of ad spend is traceable to an action.

Monthly reporting shows exactly what happened, what we changed, and what we recommend next. No 3-page PDFs full of vanity metrics. Real numbers tied to real business outcomes.

THE DIFFERENCE

Why most agency projects go sideways.

The typical agency process: a kickoff call, a creative brief nobody reads again, a designer interprets the brief, a developer interprets the design, the client sees the result and says "that's not what I meant," and three rounds of revisions later everyone is frustrated and over budget.

Our process eliminates interpretation. The spec is the design. The spec is the content. The spec is the architecture. Everyone is looking at the same document, and the document says exactly what the site will be. When the build starts, there is nothing left to interpret.

This is why we can build a site in days instead of weeks. Not because we cut corners. Because we made every decision before the build, not during it.
